・New Optical Devices:Spherical Nanoparticles

Since nanoparticles aggregate in the nanoparticle dispersed solution, by irradiation with pulsed laser on the aggregates to melt and solidify, crystalline spherical nanoparticles are prepared. These are expected as new optic devices for random laser etc. Spherical nanoparticles of organic materials such as latex have been produced so far, but spherical nanoparticles of crystalline inorganic materials are only prepared with this method, and attract attention in many research fields. Our group especially aim at nitride in our research.
