・Next-generation Solar Cells:Semiconductor Nanoparticles
Compared to the pn junction type solar cells widespreaded currently, Quantum-Dot-Sensitized Solar Cells (wet type) using semiconductor nanoparticles are easy to produce, having a possibility of high conversion rate to be expected as the next generation solar cells. Our research group manufactured silicon and compound semiconductor (InP etc.) nanoparticles, experimentally prepared Quantum-Dot-Sensitized Solar Cells and verified the effectiveness of the nanoparticles using solar simulator.
