◆Preparation of Nanoparticles:Laser Ablation in Liquid

Among many methods of preparation of nanoparticles, laser ablation in liquid is a method which was developed recently. In this method, by irradiation with focused laser beam to the target in the solvent, nanoparticles are dispersed in the solvent (colloid). Because of its facileness, it is expected to develop in each field. Our research group prepared various nanoparticles with this method. If nanoparticles are inorganic, high crystalline nanoparticles are produced compared to solution method, a general method. In case of organic nanoparticles, even materials with poor solubility can be stable suspension by nanosizing, and applications for medicines et al. are expected.
